Agreed... you will get an even bigger indication at what level they are playing at after the Ryle game today. If they get to play.

I'd also throw Holy Cross into the mix. They've beaten some quality teams this year already and apparently were in the game last night agaisnt NCC until a late implosion. They have two very good pitchers and that can take you pretty far in district/region.

Indeed it is, but this team is quite different from last years. And they have had a tough schedule to start the season.

Yep! Though their saving grace to this point has been they've played a brutal schedule. 5 of their 6 losses have come against ranked teams, with the other loss against a very good Franklin County team, who is 9-3 (and all 3 losses have been close) on the season.

I think Ludlow has played well so far. They beat Newport and lost in extras to NCC. Beechwood handled them pretty well, but I've been pleased with them.

Conner, Holy Cross, and NCC are the 3 that stick out. NCC has been up and down all year but did make it to the All A finals.

NCC is a team I can't figure out. You never know what your going to get out of them. However, I feel like they're a pretty consistently tough team to beat if Jeramie Conner is on the mound.
