May 5, 200818 yr Author Conference Finals being Thursday night with Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals Dallas at Detroit Eastern begins on Friday: Philly at Pittsburgh For Philly to have a shot in this series I think they MUST take 1 game out of the first two in Pittsburgh.
May 7, 200818 yr Author I read today where Turco is 0-7-2 at the Joe with a 3.17 GAA. IMO, Dallas is going to have to simply keep the puck away from Detroit, which is no easy task. The Wings thrive on puck possession and force the opposition into making tired mistakes by keeping them on the ice for longer shifts. Turco is going to have to remain strong in net. Colorado allowed too many mistakes at the offensive blue-line which lead to NUMEROUS odd man rushes in Detroit favor, most of which they converted into goals. Also when on the PK, Dallas must CLEAR THE ZONE, if they can get a stick on the puck get it out. They can not allow Detroit to have second chance on the powerplay. I like how Dallas is playing right now, and I think if they can come out of Detroit with a 1-1 series they can definitely pull this off. Yahoo! Article
