April 4, 200818 yr What's going on in Ann Arbor, GT? Or are you at liberty to discuss it? Admittedly, I'm uninformed on the ins and outs of Michigan, but I agree 100% with "labs". This is to be expected with a coaching change...there are going to be some players who welcome it, some who don't like it, some who leave, etc...some won't like RR's way of doing things because they liked and were used to Carr. I look at it as very similar to Billy replacing Tubby...there was talk of players being unhappy and leaving during the off-season. Once the season started there was talk of guys being unhappy and not liking Gillispie (Legion left), but ultimately, it seems the team really bought into his system and the players ultimately accepted him and really liked and respected him. I expect much of the same for Rich Rodriguez and Michigan. I'm with labs...this is par for the course.

April 7, 200818 yr I was reading where Zirbel played really well in the spring. This is great news as losing Boren will hurt some. Michigan will be better than most think because of the Defense and major upgrade in conditioning with Mike Barwis. Barwis is hands down the best SC coach in the country.
