Best game of the day. I was pulling for the small school, even if it messes up my bracket.

 

Slone was very good today and impressive. Reminds me of Corey Pelle from Silver Grove last year.

 

Number 4 impressed me also.

This kid can flat out play at any level. I think there are many D-1 school missinog out on this kid. I know he'd probably like to play at UK, but I don't see it happening.

But before we get too excited, lets see what he does with the best defender in the state on him Friday, Arrez Henderson.

Xavier U is out they have already filled their three schollies for '08 and two are guards, but I do hope he finds a school that can use Slone's game. Good luck the next game.

I know they're a Class A "mountain" school, but I just don't see how a 30-3 team fits the bill of David.

I was going on size of school, mountain team vs Louisville, etc. Certainly no knock on talent. Their six players are very fundamentally sound and know how to play the game. I was extremely impressed.

This could be a bit of a problem for them in the next round. All of their 6 had 3 or more fouls. I hope not though, they are definately a fun team to watch.

Congrats to Paintsville, Slone & Co. great showing. It will be tough with a 6 man rotation especially with the upcoming opponents but best of luck.
