I have heard that both Breathitt and Jackson will keep their current coaches. That is just what I am hearing.

The things I have been hearing is that Doug Noble, the coach of Owsley, will be going to Jackson City, bringing along with him Nick Nolbe. Thats what Ive been told by a few people in the JCS school system. Breahitt should give Banks atleast one more year, but the way things are shaping up, noone wants to play for Banks anymore.

Ther are a lot of people in Carroll that would like to see all the coaching and other positions revamped..... They call it the Good Old Boy County

Not for the girls...we just got a new Football Coach last year and are getting a new Basketball Coach this year.

Girls Basketball is very successful along with Volleyball. New Coaches have to have time to build a program and I hope they get someone that works on all levels of the program.

This is all in the rumor mill.

Clay Job- Some people are upset on how the program is being represented by the head coach. As far as having altercations with other district opponets and coaches. As well as what happen as far as the bargaining for officials. Mike Deaton's name has been bought up in what I have heard about this job.

Jackson Job- Too much talent not enough X's and O's. Year after year it seems they give him one more chance, I do not look for that to happen this next year. Look for assistant Madden to possibly take over.

Corbin- Corbin has a strong tradition and people seem to be upset with not getting back to the state tournament. And also, not winning the district as a clear odds on favorite. If this comes open there will be some high profile names apply.

North- No post season. When the New AD took over he said that he wanted all programs to strive on the post season. The last two years it has been one and done for them. Look for assistant coach Parrott's name to come up in this job after the state tournament.

I have heard that Bobby Keith's prodigal son, Todd Messer, name is being talked about very heavy in Manchester even as we speak. Spurlock ref fiasco may very well come back to bite him.

I heard that Coach Fraley resigned today as head coach of Rose Hill. Can anyone confirm this?

The people of Clinton County love Todd Messer, he will not leave the Bulldogs!

Is there a possibility that current Clinton Co. coach Todd Messer will end up back at Clay Co? Just wondering?

Wow. If this is true, Owsley will have a different coach for the 8th or 9th year. That is a tremondous amount of turnover.

Why do they love him so much?

He has come in and done a great job. He has the respect of the players and the community. The Clinton County program is definitely on the rise. I sure hope Clay doesn't approach him, I think that is the only program he would leave us for.

Coach Kevin Spurlock is definitely back at Clay Co. So these words need to stop.

He isn't going anywhere. FINAL!!!

That would be a mistake by the Clay county administration. He has brought a black mark to the team and it will not go over well with the officials either. They need to find someone that is not so arrogant and will stick to coaching instead of getting into these little types of fiascos that make the school and everyone involved look bad.

The latest rumor I have heard about the 13th region is that Elam will be fired, and Miller will be transferring. I have heard there are three schools he could possibly go to: Corbin, Bell or Harlan Co.

There's another thread started about this . . . sounds like another "open coaching position" to be added to the list!

Those type of "clicks" seem to exist at a number of schools and their selfishness only penalize the kids in each of these schools.:ylsuper:

Sounds strikingly similar to another situation I know of. :ylsuper:
