March 11, 200818 yr ...Doesn't look that bad. San Diego is up 6 on Gonzaga in the WCC Championship game. About 7:30 minutes remaining.

March 11, 200818 yr Author No it doesn't matter. However, if they close this game out, they'll be 21-13 with the WCC automatic bid. I'll be hoping for a shot at these guys in the first round of the Big Dance.

March 11, 200818 yr If San Diego wins this there are bubble teams everywhere that will be sweating bullets.

Losing on your home court to a team from the WCC is unacceptable and is not a good loss.

I would say the so-called last 4 out are really rooting for Gonzaga now. Remember, St. Mary's is a possible at-large team and they lost last night. That would be 3 from the WCC if they get in.

Either they are in with a win or it's St. Mary's. Not both IMO.
