Great atmosphere today at the game. I am proud of the Lady Rockets....

Saylor played an awesome game! As did Rowe and the rest of the Lady Rockets. I hope I can make the trip to watch them in state...

Congrats to the Lady Rockets! Good luck at STATE!!!

So if I'm reading these right. #00 is a freshman. Holy cow. She is going to be a force in the coming years. She is a heck of an athlete.

#00 Sara Hammond is indeed a freshman. She played at Diddle two years ago when a seventh grader. Already getting looks from UK and Duke as we hear.

Not to brag or anything, but ole SLINK predicted this in the 12th Region Draw Thread. I just had a feeeling Rockastle would win, because they were playing awfully well and they have a very good coach.

Congrats to Rock, this one I thought could go either way.

What an incredible athlete. I will have to make it to some Rockcastle games. She will be a pleasure to watch for the next 3 years. Would love to see her become a Lady Cat.

I know nothing about this game at all, but I overheard a conversation at work today saying that the refs basically handed the game to Rockcastle Co. I'm sure they were Casey county fans, but I thought it would be interesting to get everyone's take on here.

I was not at the game but from what I heard over WRVK it seemed like there was some bad calls but they were against Rockcastle and not for them. It sounds like sour grapes to me. I think it was a well played game on both sides and the team that played the best won.

 You have GOT to be kidding.

The refs were AWFUL both ways.

First of all, a Casey Co. girl knocked the ball out of a Rockcastle players hands, and it went back across the center line. The Rockcastle girl went back to get it, and the ref blew the whistle and called over and back.

Then, the refs called a DOUBLE FOUL on a CHARGE. They called a CHARGE...and a BLOCK. Yes...that happened.

The refs did not give Rockcastle 9 points. The Lady Rockets controlled the game after the 1st quarter and they did it with hard work and talent. The refs stunk both ways.
