McNutt still has another year, right?

He's a senior and signed at Campbellsville.

They will have a very good stable of RBs and they return some good linemen. They'll have to have Soph Guhy step up at the QB position. He did get some decent playing time last year when Logan went down and was steady. He's not the big play threat but doesn't make mistakes and is a heady kid. They'll have to find a kicker. Mcnutt will be missed. They've got some several defensive kids coming back, but Armstrong and Simpkins, LBs, will be hard to replace.

 

I agree with the others, they will be good and should win the district, but, will likely struggle early and improve as the season goes on but look out the next 2 years after.

On QB Guhy, he reminds me of Adam Simmons and more recently Greg Cook. He is is as succeddful as they were he will be have a nice career as the Cards skipper

I have heard that Ft. Campbell will be their 1st game. Nice to see them playing each other again. It has been since the 90's.

Yeah, I heard coach Morris mention that they may be in the bowl game last year when they were talking about the future of the Alliance bowl. If this is true, I won't be able to contain myself this summer, :jump:

It's about time. I miss those Ft Campbell/Mayfield games from the 80s and early 90s. That'll be a test for the Cards, but, should matchup pretty well athletically. Even if they lose, I think games like that will only help them later in the season.. Are they still playing Marshall, Calloway and Caldwell? I know they're still playing Graves and Tilghman.. If so, that's 1 heck of a nondistrict schedule...

Definitely playing Calloway cause that was a 2 year deal and Marshall is prob still on there, not sure about Caldwell, I think that was just a 2 year deal, unless a bowl game doesn't count. I did enjoy getting to see Caldwells stadium for the first time, very respectable folks from what I saw, :thumb:
