Great game. Owsley led for much of the game and was up by 9 at one time, then Estill game back and went in front by 8. Owsley came back to tie it at 62. Estill held the ball till 10 seconds left on the clock, and Cacklin hit a 3 as the horn sounded. Tough loss for the Owls....they played a heck of a game, maybe their best of the year.:thumb:

For a moment I thought the Owls had pulled another big tournament upset, like last year, but it wasn't to be.

Ther aren't too many walkovers come tourney time - teams tend to be more focused and the difference was Evans starting fand playing most of the game for the Owls. He should have been starting all year IMO. Congrats Owls you deserve alot of credit for your effort.

I agree about Evans. He gave Estill's defense fits all night long.

Heck of a game for the Owls, would of been nice to see them pull the 1-4 upset again. They have a nice young group coming up their and they will be ready to play next year.

There's some very promising sophomores on the team. Should be a solid junior class next year with Evans, the Murrell twins, Williams, and the addition of Nick Noble. Noble and Evans should be a fantastic guard combo. The one weakness will be lack of height, unless someone takes a growth spurt this summer.

Owsley should be a better team next season with Noble running things from the point. I think he will be the best player on the Owls team.

Owls looked great and played hard. Congrats to Coach Noble and the Owls.

Good to see that Estill won. Christopher has had a great career and it's not over yet.
