What is the affinity of the BEAST in playing these games on off nights? Do they think they can't compete on Saturdays against the big boys?

Awesome:rolleyes::rolleyes:

I bet the High Schools love this.

It's singular national exposure, and I don't mind it on any night other than Friday...

You may know this. Does a Saturday night game get more viewership than a Thursday night game? I will watch both. You're right, Friday night is terrible.

Thursday night games tend to have the higher rating because it's usually the only game option and more people go out on a Saturday night. That slot has been huge for getting the new Big East back on equal footing. I'm not sure how playing on the same night as just about every HS game in the country helps anything other than more programing for ESPN...

I agree. I do like the Thur night games, and watch most of them. As far as Sat nights, yes people go out, what may be lost is the amount of people that are watching the games while they are out. At least tell me the game is on a channel that I can watch. NKY HS games are finished pretty early anymore, maybe catch the 2nd half.

^ it'll be on ESPN or the Deuce....either way, I will be in section 129, Row S, seat 2....(my father in law won't give me the aisle) :irked: . . .

BTW: UC win this one BIG!

It's on.:D

I forgot to add the worst part. UC plays at WVU the Saturday before, so they will be on short rest playing back to back road games...

Ooh at WVU, then at UL? What the heck UC wins both:thumb:

Now why exactly will you be there instead of watching the Rocks? :irked:

Is it November 7th? The 4th is on a Tuesday.

I don't think I can adequately sum up my deep hatred for college football on Friday nights in words that I'm allowed to use on this site. I have never watched a college football game on a Friday during the high school season and I don't think I'll start anytime soon.

...of course, I've eaten my words before... ESPN knows exactly what they're doing and they know that all of us will show up or tune in no matter what. They're completely in control. This practice isn't going away.
