He cant play the point and will see the greatest athletes in the world night in and night out at the 2 in the NBA. They will all be bigger, longer, stronger, faster, etc. Get out your pens ladies and gentleman.... No chance Lofton is drafted in the first round.:sssh:
February 24, 200818 yr I don't think he will get drafted in the 1st round and maybe not in the 2nd round but if he gets on the right team that needs a spot up shooter he might be able to make it.

February 24, 200818 yr Author The defense wont be focused on him like they were all night tonight. One man guarded him all night. He never needed a help defender. The defense didnt have to focus on him, he was locked up all night by the man guarding him.

I mean he has had great cames his WHOLE CAREER against some GREAT teams (which mean they have great athletes). The only time he seems to struggle is not really when he plays against great athletes. Its when someone is in his shorts all night long, and just denying him from getting the ball, and just not giving him any breathing room at all. I mean I think I even remember Patrick Sparks his senior year guarding in for the 2nd half of one game and basically shutting him down and not letting him go off, by just simply staying with Lofton and not helping others on defense. And well we all know Sparks was by far from being a great athlete.. In the NBA he will be a good guy to have come off the bench. In the NBA he will have better athletes on him, but they won't focus on denying the ball from him and would help out on defense because he won't be the focus, and so that would lead to him getting good shots off. Keep in mind this is coming from someone who really hasn't been that big of a Lofton supporter at all.

February 24, 200818 yr I'd love to see Chris get drafted but I just don't see it. Athletic perimeter defenders can really contain him. And that showed tonight!

I mean unless that great athlete is right on him, then Lofton will still be able to shoot good. I mean Lofton as many people have said is probably the best contested shooted in basketball, and even better than Reddick at that. It has taken just denying him the ball in college for people to stop him. When teams have not done that (including teams with great athletes) he has tore them up. So if that great athlete in the NBA is going to leave him a little space so he can help out on defense with others, that would allow Lofton to get a good enough shot up that he can make. He will be a decent role player off the bench. I mean it might not happen as soon as he gets into the league, it might be a year or two, but I definitely think it would happen. Also I think Reddick will end up being a good role player off the bench eventually. It usually takes just pure shooters like that time to really just find their role with their teams in the NBA and adjust. I will say that I don't think he will be drafted though, or atleast not till the late 2nd round.
