On the fields yet

Featured Replies

Today is PERFECT but our the field is pure mud. In the gym once again...

Wolfe County still has not been on their field yet, but has been outside every day this week. The ground is very wet, and they would damage the field to the point of effecting every home game if they practiced there, so patience is paying off, even if the players are getting a little antsy. Tomorrow looks good, but I still can't see the field being dry enough then; oh, well, maybe Friday!

Lewis County back on the field today, actually got to scrimage a little.

3 hours on the field today. Infield in great shape but outfield a little soggy.

St. X has been on their field every day (Except Sunday's and the snow days) since February 15th. No soggy outfield. No Muddy Infield. Well drained and in great shape.

Must be nice not to have to deal with Title IX. Just another advantage for X

Please explain?????

Anyone want to venture a guess when the first team in NKY will be able to get on the field a play a game? With the amount of rain coming in today and tomorrow, the continued cool temps, and more rain predicted a few days down the road, I'm guessing there might not be any games played until April. I would doubt that most schools have been able to do any work on their fields at all - things such as turning over the dirt, adding conditioner, re-building mound and home plate area, cutting grass, etc...

Very depressing . . . . . .

This really sucks!!! More rain and maybe some winter mix Sunday.

Please explain?????

St X is an all boys school so it doen't have to deal equal facilites for the girls athletic programs.
