I have seen Darius sign a couple autographs the last few home games, I'm sure it happened to Chris. BUT it's just strange for me because I see him as just Darius, I don't see him as a big time UK signee.

 

I can only imagine what the Mason Co faithful must feel after following him and all the seniors for years now, leading to tonight and the culmination of this year.

I will be there early because their will be a big crowd of Mason County Royals because our Mason County fans goes to the games to follow them. I hope Darius doesn't go to UK next season.

I couldn't agree more. I feel the same way with Chris. After going to school with them and interacting and playing with them it is hard to realize that they are as popular (for lack of a better word) and nationally recognized as they are.

I sang in the choir for 3 years and I love to sing on senior nights. This will be my first time listening to them sitting in the stands as an alum.

B. Similar to four years ago. On senior night, Chris hit for something like 51 against Pendleton County. Yes; senior night is bittersweet. Even more so for the papa family this year!

Yes, he had an outstanding game that night. I'm not quite sure if it was 51, but it was close. I think (I could be wrong) his only 50 point game was against a team from NY in the River City Classic or Shootout in an afternoon game. I was sitting mid court front row and he was dialing up long distance.

 

I can't think of the teams name, they had blue jerseys with white trim and lettering and a lefty kid who was that bad of a player.

Sr. night may have been against Bourbon that year instead of Pendleton.

 

MC played Clark County and Doss in the River City that year; Desales and LexCath in the Pepsi.
