February 21, 200818 yr COD4 is the best game EVER. I have both it and Halo 3, and it is far better than Halo 3. I'm actually thinking about selling my copy of Halo 3. Me too. Ive never played a game that ticks me off more than Halo. Most the weapons dont take any skill(shotgun, rocket launcher, sword). I hate when someone is crouched in a corner with a shotgun and kills you and acts like there good or something.

Also love how you have to rank up to get better weapons on COD4.

The only thing I don't like about COD4 is just a people thing, how people you're playing with or against thinks someone that's in their 3'rd or 4'th prestige mode is good. I chose not to do prestige, might at some point. But I smoke just about everyone I play, not just a little but alot. I can't remember the last time I didn't go positive, LOVE HQ, and usually go atleast positive 15 or so, If I'm only positive five or so it's cuz my team stinks and I guarantee I''ve got atleast 25 kills.

I think COD4 couldn't be easier to play, and I think that's why they all switched over. It takes very little skill, evidenced by the fact that day one I bought the game (in April) I pretty much rocked everyone I played. I think people get warm fuzzies over ranking up constantly despite not having done too much in a game. In Halo if you suck it up, you drop. Yes, you get into situations where your team can drag you down as well, but IMO it balances better than "I had 3 kills and 20 deaths but yet I still rank up".
May 9, 200818 yr Author ^ Yeah COD4 is good but it is way too easy in multiplayer to rank up. You can just sit there the whole match and if you win you get points and will rank up. That's why I can't wait till Gears 2 comes out! It will be the best out of the big three out right now!

Cod4 is a much harder game and takes alot more skill than Halo. Most the weapons are Halo are easy to use and easy to get kills with. I Don't like the ranking system on Halo because I get on terrible teams and they always hold me back from ranking up. Cod4's ranking system is far from perfect too, but I like where you get ranked up on individual skill and not your overall team skill. To see how good someone there kill/death is alot more important than there rank imo. Only one of my XBL buddies hasen't switched over to Cod4 and that's cause he says its to hard. The hardest game ive probably played is Rainbow Vegas 2.

I realize it's probably no where near what a real life battle situation would be like, it is a video game. However, I hate the Halo 3 movements and guns. The guns are terrible IMO, as is the selection of guns. With COD4 you have more weapons available, and you get to add things to the guns. You can change colors, add different sites like a red dot site, or acog. Overall I just think the gameplay, graphics, and everything about COD4 is better than Halo 3.

I played ranked team death match and after you die twice, you are out for the rest of the match.
