Well, I can ASSURE some of you of this: I know some who vote for this and they have never mentioned where a kid was going to college as a reason for them to vote for a player.

 

I am not saying it does not happen, I am sure it does. However, I don't think Darius signing w/UK will give him an advantage over Scotty Hopson for Mr. Basketball. IMHO!

 

Who should have won Mr. Basketball the year Carrier did? Carrier had a tremendous season that year!

Is the vote before or after the Sweet 16?

 

After. It changes this year.

Mack is the best player this year by far! He maybe playing in the SEC next year! Watch out Butler. Another team is in the picture, my replace another kentucky great that was over looked by UK. Watch over the next week or so!

It must not be anyone on his Rivals.com list, he only has UAB, Marshal, Evansville, Xavier, Akron, and Bradley. Would you care to elaborate?

So Josh Carrier and Brandon Stockton were the best players in their class in KY? Signing with UK had nothing to do with it?

 

If you remember when those two were playing, they both dominated in high school, and really might have been the best players in the state. Them two both were very deserving of the award. I don't think signing with UK has much to do with it at all. Just during the time period, the talent in Ky wasn't as good as it is now. So at that time those guys were the best players.

What about Hendersons Josh Terry? He really is putting up big numbers. avg. 25 and 10.

IMO it's between Hopson and Miller and only them two. I think that whichever player and their respected teams gets furthest (or wins) in the Sweet 16 will win. I'm sure that (even though some people might not like it) we can all agree that overall Hopson and Miller have set themselves apart from everyone else. So good luck to both players along with all the other seniors this year (Men and Womens for Mrs.).
