I know this thread is going on in the college basketball forum, but some may not visit that forum, so I am starting it here.

 

Chris Lofton and Sarah Elliott ar both in the running for the Lowe's Senior Class Award. Sarah has a good lead, but Chris is being closely contested by DeMarcus Nelson of Duke.

 

They both need your votes. Go to the site below to vote.

To update.. Sarah Elliott of UK could really use some votes. She was tied for first but has now dropped to second place. C'mon BGPer's, let's help get a KY girl this award.

Chris had an 8% lead when I voted, but Sarah was down by 1%.

Just voted, Lofton with an 8% lead and Elliott tied at 30% for first. I'll make this a daily routine from now until the 21st!

Just voted again today. I have been voting every since LBC first posted it a while back. If every UK fan votes for Sarah every day no way does she get beat out on the public vote.

And to add to my post I do vote for Lofton also. He my play for TN, but he is still a KY Boy.

Here are some things I have done (and you could do) to bring in more votes. Twice in recent weeks I have sent an e-mail to all my contacts asking them to vote for Sarah and Chris and reminding them they can vote everyday. Some of the contacts are not even from Ky or even follow college ball, but they have responded and voted just because I asked.

 

No way do I want to see Sarah get beat by someone from Indiana or Chris to get beat by someone at dUKe.

Will vote for Elliott.

Have no reason to vote for a Vol, though. Let the folks in Knoxville pull him through!

Just voted, Sarah was up by 1% and Chris was up by 10%.
