I think Free throws were the difference in this game. If Hazard hits their FTs I believe Hazard wins this one. Not taking anything away from UHA because they deserve the trophy. They did what they were supposed to do to win. Great effort by Hazard though. They never quit no matter if they get down or not. They made a great run in the 3rd to take the lead. Just missed too many Fts and too many easy shots under the basket. Congrats to both teams on making a great run in the All A, and good luck the rest of the season.

Congratulations to UHA on their victory today. They have a really good team and should advance to the Sweet 16 if they play as well as they did today. I must say our Bulldogs also put on quite a show. We hung tough and even pulled even late in the game, but our missed freethrows and some questionable no-calls really hurt us down the stretch. I believe this tournament will be very good for the Bulldogs in the long run...perhaps making them "more hungry" to get to the Sweet 16.

 

I am proud of you Bulldogs...keep your head up!

I agree if they would a hit their free throws this game would have probably went to Hazard. But Scotty Hopson is a great player hope he comes to UK.

Great ball game. University Heights is a very good team and the Hazard kids gave it everything they had. Maybe just me but seeing an alley-oop dunk to open the game and a put back slam off of a rebound takes away some of the All A spirt to me. Congrats though to both of these teams for an enjoyable game to watch and all of schools who participated. A great event.

I'd be shocked if Hazard doesn't make it back to the All A next year and just flat roll over everyone...1 senior...They're well rounded; good guard play, nice inside play, and very physical....Gotta hit those free throws boys...FT's will make a difference in how well you guys do the rest of the season...Good luck in March....

Michael Campbell is probably one of the most underrated defensive players in the 14th region. I thought he played great defense in this game.

I agree, plus Hazard will be adding the Back kid who transferred from PCC during this season. This would take a lot of pressure off of Whitaker as well.
