Boys All "A" Finals

I watched the game when UHA beat Brossart, and I hated that Brossart couldn't end up shutting them up again.... Hopefully the Hazard Bulldogs will do it today.

A side note: EKU is a great host for this tournament, which is a fun, well-run event. But the lighting in McBrayer Arena is atrocious and embarrassing. UK and UofL can get major facility upgrades just by dropping hints in the paper. But fans are forced to sit through the games at McBrayer with a sickly, greenish-yellow tint draped over everything. I am absolutely sure the poor lighting there has contributed to the illness I'm suffering with now.

C'mon EKU grads! Pony up the cash and get that joint some decent lighting!

I couldn't find the girls' broadcast on the site that had been hosting it. Anybody got a link for this game?

I personally wouldn't mind seeing the tournament switched to WKU. But this is for another thread. Game gets under-way in about thrity minutes. Good luck to both teams and have fun!

The acoustics are atrocious, too. I went to a few concerts there when I was in college and many of the bands would comment on the echo they had to tolerate while performing.

I would love to see the All "A" come back to NKy for at least one year to play in the new Bank of Kentucky Arena. It's really too bad that Mr Steidel and the schools from NKy didn't have such a Arena years ago to host such a tourney! If the Bank of Kentucky were available to play in years ago, the All "A" would still be playing in the area of the Commonwealth, that gave birth to the idea.

You going to the game Qman?

I would love to be there but I have a prior commitment. I"ll watch the tube!
