Option Right
The Ladyhounds used defense and offense to knock off a very good Lady Panthers team today. Paris trailed by as much as 13 in the third quarter but fought back behind their defense to walk away with the victory. The Ladyhounds scored 26 points in the fourth quarter and they hit 15-of-21 free throws during those final eight minutes. The game was tied at 38-38 when the Ladyhounds lost their leader Nakita Jones with her fifth foul with 4:00 showing on the clock, but seniors (Gabby Brooks, Lauren Forsythe, Sasha Davis and juniors Emily Hinkson and Talaken Myers) came up big for Paris during those final four minutes. And Jones instead of hanging her head for fouling out, cheered her team on from the bench. Janette Pacas led Paris with 15, Emily Hinkson had 10 points, 10 rebounds and 4 steals, Gabrielle Brooks had 10 points and 6 rebounds, while Lauren Forsythe had 8 points and 6 rebounds. The Ladyhounds trailed 20-15 at the half and went on to outscore Cumberland County in the second half 37-23. The Ladyhounds are going to the SHIP!!! :dancingpa
LIVINGOUTADREAM
Great job Lady Hounds! Great representation for the 10th region. Best of luck! Side note: Could someone please tell me what the seeding is like at this present time in the 40th District? Bourbon beats Montgomery last night, what has that done for the seeding? LadyHoundsFan
Cumberland County has a very good ballclub and entered this game with a 20-2 record. The Lady Hounds defense held the Lady Panthers to their lowest scoring all season just as it did Middlesboro yesterday.

KyFans11
Paris' Lady Seniors really pulled together today and showed a lot of heart. I really hope they do even better tomorrow against LCA. :dancingpa
