Best Pitchers In the 16th Region

Featured Replies

Are all these guys Seniors? Are any colleges looking at the others, besides Hienieman?

Wilson is on several schools watch list (just a junior) and Sagraves can flat bring it. I know there are several places he can go but I would think his best offer will come sometime late spring or early summer.

If Laken Johnson, Rowan Co., has a healthy arm, he will be one of the best.

hope for the best, take the rest

One to watch in the 16th. for sure.

Nathan Miles from Rowan through very well last year, in about 6 appearences with significant innings, he did not give up a walk.

Also, Skyler Adams has a good arm with good control, any of these three could be great pitchers in the region.

Reynolds for Raceland will surprise people too.

Boyd- Helms, Smithers,

A small list for Boyd for Pitchers. Normally they have 4 or 5 quality pitchers each year. If this is all they have, it will be a long year for the Lions.

Andy Downing and Jake Bolander for Lewis County...

Greenslate from Greenup has been awesome , In Florida held #4 Apollo scoreless for 6 innings. He and Hieneman may be the best one two punch in the state this year.

Ryan Sagraves of East Carter fanned 12 against Walton Verona in Cocoa on Monday, and then came back and fanned 11 in a 1-hitter vs Williamstown on Friday in Cocoa.
