I received mine in the mail yesterday and have watched about 1/3 of it so far... it's great! I'd have to say that it's shaping up to be my favorite "movie" of all time!

...just wait fro the sequel!! ;)

Whoever did the videography on that DVD did a fantastic job! It was really professional. The editing was great too. Especially enjoyed the slow-mo replays.

The only little change I would've made would be to show the scoreboard each time there was a change. That way, you could follow along with how each game played out.

Good job! :thumb:

It's a HIGHLIGHT, not a game tape.:D

Awwwww, come on, your up for the task. You'll love it. :dancingpa

Is this the first year that HHS has made such a video/DVD? Will they be doing this every year, or is their winning the state title in 2007 a major reason for it being made for 2007?

They have been doing the tape for years. I know I have '98 and maybe even before. It is really fun to watch the older tapes. Oh, and I do happen to have '75. Don't know how I ended up with that.

To tell you the truth, if I thought I could do better than they did...and had the means...I would. But none of those things are true.

Putting the Highlight tape together is a huge task. Many, many hours and those that do it do it for the love of Highlands football. We all have our certain plays that didn't make it or the certain songs we would like to hear, but when it is all said and done, nobody does it better than the guys with the camera glued to their eye the entire season.:thumb::dancingpa

The first highlight tape I remember purchasing was Dr. Rick Grover's tape when son Brent was playing. The tape was awesome! Cutting edge graphics for the big hits and tackles... "BAM", "Ouch", "WHACK" - it was like watching a Batman and Robin feature! Don't think it ran anywhere close to 3 hours :creepy:
