Bryan Station 93 Henry Clay 60

Featured Replies

Saw this on the scoreboard, Station absolutely OWNS HC.

Henry Clay does a very poor job handling Bryan Station's full court pressure. They have lost to Bryan Station three times this year by monumental scores. I would guess that in each game, Henry Clay has more turnovers than the number of points they lost by.

Defenders continue their dominance over Henry Clay. Wonder if Henry Clay kept pressing Bryan Station. The game I watched earlier this year Mack burned the Devil's press time and time again setting up a lot of points and assists for him. I'm not a coach but I don't think the way to beat the Defenders is to allow Mack to find wide open teammates.

This game, Henry Clay kept it close for the first half. They were only down 5 a couple minutes into the 3rd. Then Bryan Station went on a 20 to 0 run or something close.

I have seen Bryan Station play 4-5 times this year, including their only loss to Mason County. They could run the season out without a loss. Station is much better than I thought they would be. They will have to have a really bad night to get beat. Catholic may have the best chance of beating them. They have as much talent (if not more), and are better coached, and play a different style. If they can force Station to play their game, they may have a chance. Mason is the only team to beat them, and Station lead most of of the first half. Close up until the middle of the 4th from what I remember.

Mack is the heart and soul of the team. He makes them so much better. Does so many things that don't show up in stats. I have seen him play since the 7th grade. I was not overly impressed with him until this year. I knew he could be a mid-major D1 player. But watching him this year, I think he should have gotten an offer from a major D1 team. I think he would have helped UK, and would have loved to have gone there. And would have worked his you know what off for BCG.

Dangerous team, Station is......

Even though the final score was lopsided, I thought Henry Clay played them better this time. At least for 2.5 periods. Then they let it get out of hand, and Station went on a big run.

I agree that they are a very good team, and will be dangerous come tournament time. Mack is a great leader on the floor.

This will be Stations best year to get to state and win it all. They've had some good teams the last 3-4 years, but couldn't get to the big dance. FYI - Henry Clay beat their Freshmen and JV teams last night, so maybe looking better for the Devils in a year or two. Tough district with Scott County in there also.

Bryan Station may be the best team in the state.

Agreed. I think Station and Catholic would be a WILD game in the 11th region tourney, where is the 11th's tourney this year?

I think it's going to be at E.K.U. this year and next.

I think it has been at EKU for several years now. I think all regions should be played at a neutral site.

Bryan Station really struggling this year, I hope they can pull things together before the 11th tournament.

I love my Royals, but my goodness Station is playing at another level right now.

Is it February 22nd yet? :thumb:

Bryan Station is playing the best ball in the state right now. Anyone have a box on this one?

Ouch!!
