It wouldn't be an 8th Region All "A" without it.

Wildcats trailed 37-22 at the half. The defense then held Shelby to 10 points until 1:24 left in the 4th. By that time the lead was 56-47. Taylor Jones hit 8 straight FT's down the stretch and Trent Maddox hit 3 of 4.

Scoring was Maddox 21, T. Jones 18, Henson 12, Brown 9, Z Jones 4, and Davis 2.

Don't count your ducklings before they hatch my friend. If I recall, Walton Verona put Gallatin into overtime and should have won. On the other side, Williamstown was only down 1 in the fourth quarter to the Wildcats. Carroll Co. also played them very well just a couple weeks ago. Don't count any team out during tournament time. I think more people would be surprised by a Gallatin victory than a Shelby.
