With the first round done and Beechwood defeating Holy Cross tonight, who takes the 9th??

Have to like the chances of St. Henry. Pretty easy raod to the finals. NCC/Newport/Beechwood have a much harder path. They could be worn out by the time Saturday roles around.

I will say Beechwood will win. Just IMO. No real reason, haven't seen them play, but I just have one of those feelings!

I'm going to go with the Wildcats of Newport.

With Romas back, Beechwood certainly looks like a different team. However, NCC/Newport will be a tough test and St. Henry has a much easier path to the finals. I think all four of these teams could win it on any given night. This year is one of the better years in the 9th region All "A".

:confused: I was all set to pick Holy Cross until they lost to Beechwood so I have no clue what you are talking about. A great many of my friends are from HC,NewCath and St Henry..

I was also thinking Newport, but that ended last night as well. I think the winner of the Beechwood / NCC game wins the title, even though St. Henry has the easier semi-final.
