Gunner11
Love watching Danny Jackson work! He was the man in the 1988 season.
stickymitts
It's funny how so much has changed. You'll very rarely see a pitcher finish like Jackson does.
Gunner11
Jackson had 15 CG's in 1988!!!
JBCousins
Anyone else watching this!!! Awesome! Bonds was so tiny then! They ALL are! Well, Bobby Bonilla was pretty big! Eric Davis looks like he'll blow away with a strong gust of wind. ESPN Classic had a 1985 WS game on a few months ago and it was like watching high school kids! Seaver did the same thing but your right you don't see anything like that today.:irked: Way to go ED I hope the Reds pull this one out.
JBCousins
I LOVE watching E.D. wave that bat around! He was my favorite player. Defensive replacement R.J. Reynolds butchered that ball. Reds have 2nd and 3rd with no one out in the 6th....score 1-1....

They had very good pitching and every player in the lineup could hit pretty well. Not a lot of power but a ton of contact hitters and good speed. Baseball the way I loved it! stickymitts
I didn't realize until today that they had the top 3 defensive fielding outfielders in the NL, percentage wise.
