January 22, 200818 yr Author My greatest sports memory (that I saw in person) was E.D.'s homer in Game #1 of the WS. I was sitting in the green seats on the 3rd base side and can still remember watching that ball fly out to centerfield. IT WAS AWESOME!!! I just got chills thinking about it..... Being a Mets fan my favorite witnessed in person baseball moment was the 1999 NCLS at Shea. Robin Ventura walkoff grand slam in the bottom of the 15th(officially scored a single because he only made it a little past first base after being mobbed by teammates). The Mezzanine at Shea was shaking.
