Mid-Season 10th Region Top 10 Players

Featured Replies

Why don't you see all-star games at the high school level. Could you imagine the best ten players from each region in a single elimination tournament in the spring!

There is a rule about how many all-star games a player can participate in. I don't know the exact number, but it is limited (3 or 4 I think).

That would be great and fun to watch. I would enjoy that.:ylsuper:

I'm not going to make a top 10 but instead just list some players that I've seen that have played exceptionally well. I don't think it's right to make a top 10 since I haven't seen every team play.

Augusta - Shooty Staggs, Chris Mofford

St. Patrick - Chris Owens, Nick Anderson

Deming - Kyle King, Luke King

Calvary Christian - Joe Flanningan

Nicholas County - Kyle Campbell

Silver Grove - Steven Pelle

Harrison County - Brett Franklin

Again these are in no particular order and anyone you'd expect to be listed is not because I have not personally seen them play.

What about Bracken County's D-Von Workman?

He has played exceptionally well this season.

I'll throw a list out there from what I've seen:

1. Miller - Mason

2. Setty- Mason

3. Middleton - Mason

4. Stenzel - GRC

5. Josh Clark - Montgomery

6. Owens - St. Pat

7. Stephens - Montgomery

8. Nerl- Campbell

9. Albrecht - Campbell

10. Talbot - Harrison

11. Rash - Montgomery

12. Anderson - St. Pat

13. Franklin - Harrison

I have not seen Deming, Augusta, Bishop Brossart, Silver Grove, Cov. Scott, or Pendleton play yet this year.

I can't see Rash or Albrecht, or Nerl behind Stephens.

I think the key factor is can you control the game? Can you take over a game? Can you dominate a game?

If you can't, then you can't be considered a top 10 player.

Good call on Workman PK, I missed that one. He has shot the three well this year when I've seen him. Looks to be the only consistent scorer for Bracken County.

I completely agree. Some see Stephens as a great player and some don't I guess it's just how you see him.

Questionable. He's got the Kobe Bryant virus, puts up 45 shots a game. Maybe it's just family tradition.
