Boyd would be a huge asset to the ofense if he came to UK. Who beside Lyons and Ford do we have at WR?

Yes Dicky Lyons is the best receiver they will have next year. It wouldn't suprise me to see some teams double coverage him and make the other recievers beat them.

Yeah that could create a problem. I see that spread offense like WVU runs being the most succesful thing next year.

I hope the Boyd will go to UK looks like a beast at WR.

Boyd has millions of $$$ worth of talent...but he has to grow up a ton to be successful, especially in the SEC.

Lanxter is a 6'4" frosh who got a few reps this year. He was the surprise of the bowl game practices this year and Joker believes he was the best WR in practices leading up to this years game much like last year when Stevie Johnson did the same thing. Now we will see if he can have a breakout year like Johnson did.

Why don't they run the option w/ Pulley and Locke and have Ford blocking on the outside?

And pass some. But definately not the same type of O.

i dont think the option is ENTIRELY the way to go, especially in the SEC where linebackers running 4.4s are common. I think allow Pulley's speed to exploit some teams on SOME option play and some getting Pulley on the perimeter in some option passing plays would be most effective. WVU can run the spread option to death in the Big East, I don't think it would be as stable for UK in the SEC, especially without an offensive line bred to run in space and mash and a great backfield from A-Z. Pat White, Steve Slaton, and Owen Schmidt were arguably the best at what they did in the country in a defense free conference.

Exactly, I'm not saying to run the option every time. Just mix it in along with some QB draws. They can also allow Pulley to throw it deep to Dicky some and throw some screens. We should be pretty versatile. Plus our O-line is pretty fast with some converted tight ends and D-Linemen.
