Why can't you answer the question, do you take the Maysville paper. Also I got the Clark Co-Dixie Heights game from the Ky-Post on line.

Whether I personally take the Maysville paper is not the point.

 

The question should be whether the L-I should post reports on such things as Brossart playing in the "A" State tournament. I was at the games, I don't have to read about it in the L-I, but others who have a general interest (such as some of the 10th Region coaching staffs, players, and fans) might want to know how we are doing.

 

Incidentally, I have the L-I website on my favorites right along with the Herald-Leader, The Courier-Journal, NKY.com, and the Enquirer site. I also have a full page from the L-I framed and on my office wall from when we won the 10th Region Tournament in 2000.

Nice to see you apparently responded without actually reading the post because you completely proved my point from the first sentence.

 

Never did I say anybody cares about West Union girls. I'm not going go over the whole thing again, but basically, the nights you get coverage of a 3-17 girls team against a non-local team, it's because that's all there was to choose from, not because the Ledger staff is sitting around saying "Hey, wouldn't it be funny if we gave the shaft to [insert team here]."

 

The whole point of the post was that there weren't any other games in the area those nights, but it's always funny how some people will still find a way to complain that somehow these games are taking coverage away from their team, whether they're playing or not. Thanks for proving it for me.

 

Never did I say you said anybody cares about West Union girls. I read your post and you must have taken my post wrong. I didn't say on any particular night you or they( ledger Independent) shafted Lewis Co. out of coverage for an Ohio girls game. I said Lewis Co. gets little coverage anymore unless they are playing a local team. If they play a team up the river or out of the 10th region there more than likely won't even be a paragraph about the game. And back to the Ohio girls games if that's all you got on a given night stay home watch a college or pro game on TV and write about it, someone might actually read that.
