Would anybody agree with me after watching last nights game against Mason County that Taylor Stewart from Lexington Catholic is a top 5 player in the state? I think he comes in at either 4 or 5 with Miller, Hopson, and Mack in front of him. He signed with Air Force and had offers from other division 1 schools and had he waited to sign in the spring he eventually could have ended up with numerous offers from bigger schools. Just wondering what other people think of him.

Stewart is definately big for the Knights team. He is a do it all kid. He can shoot from outside, hit short turn around jumpers in the paint, bang inside a bit, take it to the hole on the dribble, and play good D. He compliments the Knight's other two big players well because his play allows Smart to be able to sit outside looking for his shot and he lets Novosel stay down low more so that he can bang inside.

Taylor Stewart I believe is the glue to the Lexington Catholic team. Heady player, great shooter, and a coaches dream to have a kid like that on the floor.

I agree, he is a great player and will have a great college career. Good luck to Taylor and the rest of his season!

He has great fundamentals all around. Handles the ball very well for his size/build.

He also was the reason I think that LC won the first Mason Game back in December. He came out in the third determined to win the game. I really like his style and determination.

Good luck at Air Force......

Taylor is a good player. he can dribble shoot pass and play defense. I think that if he waited to sign he could of had bigger schools after him. Especially after watching him play Vs. Mason County

I have always felt that Taylor Stewart's strength is his strong legs that allow him to run, jump and effectively play in the Knight's pressing defense. He will get stronger in the upper body and contribute nicely at the Air Force Academy.

Taylor Stewart is having a very fine senior season.
