I was told today that Mr. Saylor had all the kids that plan on playing football next year for the Blackbears come to the blackbears fieldhouse to meet each other. The coaches for all three schools were present also. I was told that 118 kids from grades to be 10-12 were present. I was told that it was a great site and great atmosphere. The excitement surrounding this up and coming new program is starting to kick off and I can't wait until next fall to see the Blackbears take the field for the first time against Hazard. I bet you won't be able to find a parking place from hear to Hazard.

3a this year!!!! Mercer (i mean Harlan) will be playing in thier proper classification next year which I think will be 5A.

So Hazard is the opening game? Who else fills up the other nondistrict games blackbear '08?

I can't wait to compare rosters to see how many new kids will be on that team. The ones that were not there last year and not the incomming freshmen.

Then in 2009, they will play in whatever classification their enrollment dictates and they will have the time to compile their own schedule.
