Big Daddy Bear Posted January 13, 2008 Posted January 13, 2008 Congrats to the Lady Saints. Disappointing loss for the Lady Bears. Seemed to get away from some of the things that had brought success the last couple of games. Also, the big turnover monkey reared it's ugly head again. Don't know the final number of turnovers but am guessing it was a big number. Another double digit point night for #00 H.Haight. I don't know how this very thin girl works inside where the bulk works but evidently no one has told her she can't. And she has made a beleiver out of me.

It was hard for me to belive she scored that much, 16 for the game. She is a hard working player. Was the first time I could make it up the hill and catch a game. Keep working hard girls. You still have alot of basketball to play.
ATown Pride Posted January 13, 2008 Author Posted January 13, 2008 It was good too see some fellow BGP'rs out to Brooksville tonight. Saw a couple from A-town.
Big Daddy Bear Posted January 13, 2008 Posted January 13, 2008 Just wanted to add a wish for Coach Douglas's daughter Chelsie ( hope that spelling is correct ). She was hurt late in the game somewhere in the area of the knee. Her mom was thinking it is muscular as opposed to liagament and was gonna wait untill today to evaluate it more. Best wishes for a speedy recovery from the Big Daddy family !

U Reach I Teach Posted January 13, 2008 Posted January 13, 2008 St. Pat outworked Bracken County tonight. They got a lot of loose balls that could have gone either way. Bracken County had numerous opportunities underneath the basket and wasnt able to cash in. St. Pat got to the FT early and often, shooting 36 times. Bracken Co. actually made more field goals then the Lady Saints, but the Lady Saints outscored them from the FT Line 21-7. The Lady Bears need to learn to play some defense without fouling so much.
mcpapa Posted January 13, 2008 Posted January 13, 2008 Not surprising to see some inconsistency from Bracken being as young as they are. Congrats to Saint Patrick, and on to the All-A for both teams.

You are correct 32 total you won't win very many with a turnover # like that.Good Luck to the Lady Bears as they head to Paris for the All A.
All In Posted January 13, 2008 Posted January 13, 2008 To me this is Bracken's biggest rival. They need to beat the Lady Saints at home, the loss is kinda dissapointing after some recent victories. Good luck to the LB's in the Class A.
hounddawg Posted January 13, 2008 Posted January 13, 2008 Good win for St. Pat. Hopefully the momentum carries to Paris on Wednesday and can pull of the upset against Bishop Brossart in the Class A!
Coach In The Stands Posted January 13, 2008 Posted January 13, 2008 Thought Bishop Brossart had to play Augusta first?
hounddawg Posted January 13, 2008 Posted January 13, 2008 Thought Bishop Brossart had to play Augusta first? Yes they do.. I guess I was "assuming" Brossart would come away with that win after comparing the two's schedules.
