chsol77 Posted January 11, 2008 Posted January 11, 2008 How does everyone think NKY's 6A will turn out next year? I know both Boone and Ryle are losing key players.
chsol77 Posted January 11, 2008 Author Posted January 11, 2008 Who will be the teams to go to the playoffs next year out of this division?
pioneer568 Posted January 12, 2008 Posted January 12, 2008 I think this is the year SK and Campbell jump to the top of 6A in Northern Kentucky.
thsrocks Posted January 18, 2008 Posted January 18, 2008 Any word on Cooper's coach? Who will lose the most players to Cooper? Can any child in the county attend as long as there is room? Are you all aware of many Seniors-to-be who are jumping ship to be among the first to graduate from Cooper?

Boone County is not open like Kenton County. You have to go to the school in your district. I don't believe there are any plans for changing this either. All current juniors have the option of staying at their current school for their senior year. I don't foresee many 'star' athletes changing schools, but you never know.
BlueBoy Posted January 19, 2008 Posted January 19, 2008 I'd keep an eye out for Simon Kenton. Will the Crane kid get any touches in Varsity next year? I saw him play last year as a freshman and he dominated most games. Almost a one man wrecking machine on offense. Big bruising runningback.

The Golfer Posted January 19, 2008 Posted January 19, 2008 How does Boone County and Ryle stack up this season? For the last couple of years they have been the top of the NKY 4A/6A district does that look the same this year or will another team come up this season?

For the last couple of years they have been the top of the NKY 4A/6A district does that look the same this year or will another team come up this season? Boone County lost 28 seniors, 8 of them were starters on offense as well as 4 to 5 who started defense. Boone will be young this season but expect the junior class to step it up and help out the seniors.
NUMBER 1 FAN Posted January 20, 2008 Posted January 20, 2008 Ryle has a very talented class comming in. they should be in the mix and the following year they will be loaded.
chsol77 Posted January 21, 2008 Author Posted January 21, 2008 Conner is losing a ton of students, but none of them will be seniors that play on the football team, there are very few soon-to-be juniors who will be leaving so I think it will affect Conner the least of the three schools.

Conner is only losing 1 or maybe 2 Junior(currently Sophmore) to Cooper i think and a handfull of freshmen. The only thing that conner has to worry about next year is the front 8 on the defenseive side of the ball. There going to be small but fast so I think they will be ok. There Offense is going to be very explosive, alot of "Play-makers" on the offensive side. Also a big, strong offensive line.
