4chs Posted January 10, 2008 Posted January 10, 2008 Corbin plays Largo Sat. in the Nissan Shootout at Lexington Catholic. Largo is led by 6'11" Maurice Sutton who has been offered by Marquette and other Div-1 schools. They are averaging over 90 points per game while going undefeated this year and also only lost once last season. I'm not sure if Josh Crawford will play or not Saturday, but his inside play will be badly needed against Largo. Largo 84 - Corbin 78
Les Posted January 10, 2008 Posted January 10, 2008 Is he 6-10 or 6-11? The recruting site I saw said 6-10. Really doesn't matter, I guess, the kid can play.
SouthernSportsFan Posted January 10, 2008 Posted January 10, 2008 I feel bad for the Hounds in this one. They may keep it competitive for a half, but the bigger, stronger opponent will win out. Largo, MD - 92 Corbin - 65
Bubba Wilson Posted January 10, 2008 Posted January 10, 2008 You maybe correct SSF, but it would shock me if the Hounds get beat 30. It will be a tall task for them to beat Largo, but I think they will keep it under 15. Good luck Hounds.
WILDMAN Posted January 10, 2008 Posted January 10, 2008 Largo should win this game but with Sutton being 6'11" 185, could Manns' decisive weight advantage and physical play get him in foul trouble?
Les Posted January 10, 2008 Posted January 10, 2008 we'll see Saturday, huh? I believe the Hounds will play Largo tough.
addout Posted January 11, 2008 Posted January 11, 2008 No way will the Hounds allow themselves to be embarrassed. They will play Largo "tuff", Largo by 15 or less.
the mathemagician Posted January 11, 2008 Posted January 11, 2008 What time is this titanic struggle on Saturday?
WILDMAN Posted January 11, 2008 Posted January 11, 2008 I'm thinking it is at 4:30 but it could be at 4.
The Breeze Posted January 11, 2008 Posted January 11, 2008 I'm thinking it is at 4:30 but it could be at 4. My guess is this team is not going to travel all this way if they are not a really good team, Corbin goes down by 12 or more. I thought I read somewhere the game started at 1:00 not sure though.
The Breeze Posted January 11, 2008 Posted January 11, 2008 I'm pretty sure it is at 4:30 p.m. Then I'm pretty sure you are right then, don't read very well sometimes anyway.
Les Posted January 11, 2008 Posted January 11, 2008 No, no, you were right. In another newspaper, it had the gametime at 1 p.m. But from what I was told, it was supposed to tip-off at 4:30 p.m.
