I don't see anyone in the system being qualified or interested besides the coaches on the bench at this time.

I know there are some potential coaches in the area but I look for an experienced coach to come in and be more than qualified and interested from a near by county. Possibly a past head coach in Coach Turner might find a new passion and stay in the system or an interested parent would be an option but that may be taking a long shot. Not a fact, like I said "IMO".

I remember when Paul coached, he had a lot of fire and put showed a lot of heart while he was in the program at OCHS. I also seen him over at the game Saturday night while the girls played Estill. Maybe he showing intrest again.

I wouldn't complain with that. I was a supporter of Coach Green during his career of a girls coach. Most people don't remember him or neglect to include him but he helped and was co-headcoach with Coach Turner when they both stepped during the 2005 season and helped Coach Charlie Turner in the Boy's program. He was a familiar face, personal friend and a loyal fan to the boys program that year and I'm sure the years before that.

IMO I don't see him coming back to Owsley since he has a higher administration position in Lee Co ,maybe in Lee. Eventhough, I know that he misses the sideline but there are a possibility. IMO

I truly believe that Superintendent Turner is committed to doing the absolute best for all students (including student-athletes) in Owsley County. I feel that she will do whatever is necessary in order to get a highly qualified coach that can lead an extremely talented group of girls into the future. She has already convinced her husband to help out with the team the rest of the season. ---I personally feel that she has already helped bring stability to the boys program, as for the first time in years a coach is in place that looks to be around a while (Coach Noble). She has also brought back the band, and "The Palace" looks the best that I have ever seen. She is a true supporter of the entire academic/athletic program. ---I think that she probably already has in mind a replacement for next season. It will be interesting to see how it all pans out. -- As for this year, the girls can still have a lot of success. They just need a little confidence. Hopefully, Coach Turner can catch fire-in-a-bottle ala 2005.

I beleive the Lady Owls will be fine. All I can say is that they just make their shots, and the only way to help that is to shoot; it's a simple correction. From what I can tell the girls seem to be taking everything with an optimistic outlook on the way things has turned out. They seem to be liking Coach Turner and seem to be taking to him. One thing that I liked when I was watching the game was that they didn't run the same play over and over each time down the floor. Even though they didn't win Saturday night, I see great things comming down the road for the Lady Owls.

Who knows what will happen but I am sure the right decisions will be made.

IMO i would love to see coach green back on the sidelines he was one heck of a coach. Someone else that would make the girls a good coach is bobby bowling he is very intense and will get out all of the potential these talented young girls have in them. But this is JMO.
