Owen County beat Meade County 39 to 38 in the title game. Owen is playing really well and look as if they will be the team to beat in the 31st district. Congratulations to Owen County.

 

Owen is not in the class a this year because of their enrollment is too high. To qualify for the class a tournament, your enrollment has to be 425 or less students in the top 3 grades.

The Lady panthers pulled off a win there to... #14 Clary forward had 13 points.. I tell ya she was great through out the tourament. Daughtery and Landrum look good aswell. congrads Lady Panthers for a great game

Some of the pool games were a bit lopsided but the out of pool matchups for the placings were great, largest margin of victory 5 points. Great games all day.

Not good for Owen County. Everyone in Owen County is pretty sick that they can't play due to about 10 students to many last year. Rumors are that the numbers are back down but not soon enough. :cry:

Owen County is turning into a tough Class "A" opponent. I don't think many people thought they would be having this kind of success this year. Congratulations Coach Osbourne, I hope you continue the success, you deserve it.
