It was close early but Beechwood had way too much talent for Silver Grove to keep up.

I will disagree here. I think they can take St. Henry and if they can contain Giwa/Sorrell they have a shot at beating Holy Cross. I dont think they can beat the Breds with their size advantage but who's to say the Tigers couldnt get hot from 3pt land one night and knock them off.

 

This is actually the first year a non catholic public school has a shot to win the All A. Dont count em out yet.

No they don't.

Beechwood played good against Silver Grove but the Big Trains are in a rebuilding year so you can take nothing away from this game. Beechwood did not play to good in the first half which was tied @ 31. After that they dominated like they should.

I think beechwood has a nice team, but are nowhere near a favorite in the All "A".

Favorite in the All "A" no, but a contender without a doubt. The real tests will come soon enough.

Let's see the Beechies play someone before booking their rooms in Richmond?? Their four opponents are a combined 4-20, and the Grove is way down this year after a good several year run. Looks like we'll know more about them in a couple weeks. Hope they can keep it going, but the 3 mentioned will have a lot to say about the 9th region "A"!!

First, IMO this isn't the first year a non-catholic school has had a shot to win the A, as both Beechwood and Ludlow probably had better teams than this year's Tigers in the 2000's.

 

And actually, I don't think Beechwood can beat any of the Big Three this year, I don't think they are all that. Maybe I'm wrong, but that's my stance.
