You can take a position and not be judgemental. However, that is not what most people do.

No...we are talking about why some people might make the decision to have an abortion. Like it or not, all of this "Jamie Spears is worthless" stuff isn't going to help young girls make the decision to keep a baby after making a poor choice to have unprotected sex. That is the reality of our actions.

People have always made mistakes...kids and young adults moreso sometimes. I am just pointing out that our own actions (and words) sometimes play into the beliefs and decisions that other make.

So, because of their age, they get a free reign to do whatever they want?

No, than God, this country came to it's senses and realized we were wrong with that position in this country. I hope I am still alive when this country comes to it's senses on this issue, too.

 

By belief, if you mean faith, I can argue this position without ever bringing faith into the argument. And honestly most times I do. It is wrong whether I am a Christian, a Hindu, an Islamic, or an atheist.

I am assuming you meant, "Don't we" cause the way it is written, I am not sure what I am supposed to be answering.

 

By judgemental, you mean withdrawing our support and aid, yes we do not need to be judgemental. If by judgemental, we don't need to take a stance that sex outside of marriage leads to multiple problems, then I disagree with you.

 

We can take the stance that sex outside of marriage is wrong and still be supportive of the person. Same with homosexuality, action is wrong but loving and supportive of the person. Same with lying, action is wrong and will not abide it but loving and supportive of the person.

 

And I have made my share of mistakes and will continue to do so. I think the last sentence is a crutch to make the person feel better about themselves than anything.
