Is that just THIS past season or all time?

I was looking for this past season's opinions.

What about WR - Gerad Parker from Lawrence County. I know HHS won by like 40 but the Birds could not contain him along with RB - Michael West. Your thoughts???

 

Lawrence County?

Gerad played there a while ago. He is currently a GA for UK. Great young football coach with a big future.

#9 for BGHS was soph DB Jay Beard, younger brother of WKU's redshirt DB Ryan Beard. #34 was senior LB Matt Van Meter, who played with a lot of heart all season. Of course, #16 was senior QB Trent Steelman. His older brother, Tyson, played WR at Campbellsville U, and is now BGHS's WR Coach. Trent appears headed to Wofford College to play QB. He set all of BGHS's season and career passing records, and holds a few game records as well. Trent also came within less than 150 rushing yards away from Doug Beard's single season record for rushing yards by a QB at BGHS (Doug ran for 1006 yards in 1976...and he is Jay's and Ryan Beard's father!) leatherneck's right...he is a tough one!

 

Many thanx to the Highlands Fans for recognizing these young men in addition to Ryan Wallace and D.L. Moore! I will be sure to tell them about your recognition at the football banquet...they'll really appreciate it!

 

I would also like to give props to junior K Max Oldham. His PAT was his 56th in a row and is a genuine threat to break the state record early next season! He was 93 of 94 on the season.
