That's pretty funny considering the previous coach went to CovCath, the current coach had an older brother graduate in 1993. They were the first two up there from that family and are not related to anyone else there.

How many coach's kids are playing? How many coach's are related? When its a family tradition it is easy to make sure no one can compete for a spot and those spots are handed to those kids when they get there.

To keep your job, you have to play those kids. Like I said family tradition.

NCC has an all-around better team than last year. Much better shooting team and can easily go 8 deap. If Dustin Giesler plays like I know he can, it will give them the inside game to go along with their outside shooting.

 

I agree with you NKU20. This team appears to be well balanced in their attack. Fantastic shooting, very good handlers, and some beef on the inside. Not sure what's going on with a few of these posts but I think NCC is looking pretty good.

Way too early to say that. Kiernan will not be replaced adequately by anyone on this year's squad and nc lost several other good players. This year's guards can be good but certainly weren't ready for prime time last year.

Of course Kiernan is a tough player to replace but I think what NKU20 is saying that NCC has several options and don't need to rely on the offense not starting until 1 player is in it. This is not a knock on anyone just a different team. Coach B and company are doing a good job with this team!

None of the coaches are related. Not one.

 

There's a Schear, a Brannen, a Pangallo and a Meyer.

 

None of which are related.

I think what he may have been referring to was Grant Pangallo (Dad Jimmy is a coach) and the Meyer boy whose Dad is Ralph who is also a coach. I dont agree that they only play family members though, that is ridiculous. Those two kids are good basketball players, its not their fault they are coached by their Dads. If Red Devils knows someone that was wronged for some reason, lets hear about it and support your case without making accusations such as your last one.
