Would Coverdale leave T for this job...I guess the master of the spread could turn around Butler, but can he beat X and T for a state title?

Butler would be a step down for Nichols.

I have been hearing a new name the last couple of days but can't reveal it at this time due to the fact that he is currently a head coach in Louisville and doesn't want it out to his team unless it becomes necessary. I will say this: this person knows how to win and has been winning! :jump:

They would both be excellent choices. I think Deskins is a very good coach that we don't hear much about. A proven winner. This would be good news for Butler if either is the choice. :jump::ylsuper:

It could turn out to be an Abbott and Costello routine. It seems Butler has had difficulty fitting a coach after Steve Jewell first coaching rotation.

Butler would be a step down for Nichols.

 

I wouldn't rule out one of the Manual Assistants, Weiter was a HC at Atherton

I can't see Coach Sander leaving the Colts. He is the AD as well as head coach. President Strothman will do his best to keep him.
