While the night was different than the usual match ups between these two team from my point of view I am proud at the support of the fans from both sides. The victory was bitter-sweet but the game was amazing and I wouldn't have had it any other way.

The PINK night put on by the Bracken FBLA was great and you couldn't have asked for a better game to make it exciting.

Thanks to all who made it a success and thanks to the teams (old and new) for making this one another great game for the record books.

Congrats to the Augusta Panthers and to both teams for playing for a great cause. Sounds like a solid win for A-Town as they fight back from 10 down.

I doubt 80 or 90 dollars will break many people!

If Mr Florers account gets to low, Just get one of the fine calves he has in that herd on the farm and put them on the market,, Thanks to Mr and Mrs, Florer for there donation it was for a great cause, great game to watch.

After a pretty lackluster 1st half Augusta took over in the 2nd half outscoring BC 35-15 to pull out a hard fought victory. HUGE team effort from the Panthers, now 2-3 on the young season.

One of the best reasons to be a Bracken co. resident is an Augusta vs. Bracken basketball game. What a great show tonight! The community support of a great cause on both sides of the gym made me proud this is where I call home. Congrats to Rob and the Panthers on a hard fought win. Continued good luck to Coach Fite and the young Polar Bears. I think the best is still to come.

Congrats to the Panthers on the victory, but more importantly congrats to the whole county and putting together a great show for an even better cause!

Good game on both sides. I think the key was Coach Kelsch and the Panthers switching to a zone, and unfortunately for Bracken, losing a bit of their touch around the arc. Like someone said before, Jo Jo Gray was a big sparkplug coming off the bench for Augusta. Big three-pointer and a couple of steals. Shooty Staggs was a beast on the offensive glass and Chris Mofford showed a lot of touch around the basket. For Bracken, they opened up a good lead in the first half and the size disadvantage finally caught up to them in the third quarter. Good shooting night from Workman and Trev Jefferson, and though he rarely shows up in the box score, a great all-around floor game from Alex Williams. He may be one of the best on-ball defenders in the region, but will probably (unfortunately) never get the credit. Coach Fite has a very, very good young team. They're going to take their lumps but will eventually be (at the very least) a region All-A contender. Good rivalry atmosphere for a great cause. It was neat to see all the pink in the crowd rather than the blue vs. the orange, but the crowd was still very much into it. Big win for the Panthers, and nothing to hang your heads for, Bracken. I look forward to the rematch on Feb. 8 at the Panthers' Den!

I know that Augusta hit 3 threes and Workman hit 6. I know there were a few others. It was annouced that one of Bracken coaches was donating $10 for every 3 pt basket made in the game to the shoot for a cure fundraiser.
