Jonathan Ferguson joins 1500 point club

Featured Replies

From what I have read on this thread he could probably have broken a lot of records if he got to play the minutes he is due. I have heard that he is a exceptionally hard worker in practice (63 minutes in three games??) his hard work must not be paying dividends!!!

Sounds like somebody is trying to stir the pot. Elliott has won every game by 40+. Starter's minutes get limited in those games. Additionally fouls added some bench time against Morgan County. Ferguson is a great player and is playing extemely well right now. There is not a problem.

Not trying to stir the pot. Just making a just evaluation of the information I have gleaned from BGP post and heard through the grapevine. If someone is trying to balance the stats, as "Mole" questioned, it may be accepted as politically correct by some, but is very selfish and very unjust for any player. .:ylsuper:

Congratulations to a very polite young man. I wonder if he's prouder of the 1500 club or the buck he took this fall?

I agree with the Mole about stat balancing or if not that something is up!! There has been a couple or three other starters who have played nearly all of all three games. Coming out with only 2-3 minutes left or less. Not counting sitting out because of foul trouble Ferg has been sat out by Coach more than almost all of the other starters with the exception of maybe one. And fouls didn't add no bench time for Ferg in the Morgan Co game. One starter last night against West with a 50 pt lead was in when the buzzer went off. If anyone is trying to stir the pot It is being stirred in Elliott Co!!!!!!!! Ferg has sit out almost all of the 4th quarter(and

quite a bit in the second) in every game while others like i previously stated dont come out in 4th until couple minutes left. For all of you who knows Ferg you know he is really quite and never complains. He has never been in the Coaches office with a complaint in his careerUNTIL NOW and he went and addressed this very issue with his coach monday but to no avail. So if he is complaining something is happening!! He is encouraged in practice to work really hard set a good example and motivate everybody by outrunning them and all it has gotten him is less playing time. It will probably get even less because I myself said something on his behalf to the coach at the game last night. You all can keep tabs on it and see!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THERE IS A PROBLEM!

I can understand better than most, but I hate to hear that.

I honestly dont think you do understand!!

I wish you were his Coach Bogey because as highly as you speak of him you would probably give him some playing time!!:D

PM me and Ill might tell you some real interesting things that would:scared:

your mind. Course you know how things work around there youve been here as long as I have

I addressed this as an issue before the season started. Equal playing time for all I say , can't we all just get along.

Maybe the others are still playing more than the Ferguson kid when Elliott has the big leads is they lack solid ball handling from the JV gaurds who come into the game. This is according to a post by BogeyMan that I saw in another thread. Therefore they cannot sub as freely for the gaurds. Do not know this to be the case but just a thought.

Ferg is a great kid. I'm positive that if there is a close game that he will be in the game. He's the best player in the 16th region.

What??????

Is this Upward Basketball? Do we all get a trophy at the end? No score on the clock? We're all winners!!!!!!

No this is not what I meant just playing time for all when needed and when we have a big lead. And YES they are all winners in my book ! ! ! :D

I think the one starter c Knipp sits out more than any other starter.
