oldrambler Posted December 2, 2007 Posted December 2, 2007 Final. Raceland and 1st year Head Coach S. Floyd open the season up with a win in the Campbellsville tip off classic. 59-54 over Central. I honestly do not know which "Central" at all, I got the score from the KHSAA website and the opponet is just listed as Central on the Rams schedule that I have as well.
Ram Posted December 2, 2007 Posted December 2, 2007 Oldrambler, it is Louisville Central. Good win for the Rams and First year Head Coach Scott Floyd, I would say that they are going to have many wins together.

I agree, imo the Rams basketball program is in very good hands now and they should have a very good season this year and beyond.
Ram Posted December 2, 2007 Posted December 2, 2007 Thanks Ram. I agree, imo the Rams basketball program is in very good hands now and they should have a very good season this year and beyond. Your right, I look for a district title, and a good regional run. Surprisenly, this year it will be easier to win our district (being the only 1A team), then it would be to win the All A.
RamCat Posted December 2, 2007 Posted December 2, 2007 Congrats to the Rams and Coach Floyd on the win. Any stats from the game?
solidbluex2 Posted December 2, 2007 Posted December 2, 2007 I know Sparks had to miss some time with a shoulder injury does anyone know if he played and if he did how did he play.

Hit Catch Throw Posted December 2, 2007 Posted December 2, 2007 I know Sparks had to miss some time with a shoulder injury does anyone know if he played and if he did how did he play. I am sure Sparks will be fine, He is such are good hard nose kid with a big hart. He will take the Rams on his back and win a lot of games. I really dont know how he is doing right now, But he wont be out to long.
UT Vol Fan Posted December 2, 2007 Posted December 2, 2007 Sparks -20 points Barker- 9 points Keeton- 8 points Nichols-7 points Tolliver-6 points Boyles- 5 points Martin- 4 points The Rams outscored Central 24-5 in the 4th period. Sparks played very limited but when he was on the court Central did not have an answer for him, his hsoulder was was hurting him, and you could tell but he played very hard and scored when Raceland needed him to.
Nets Posted December 2, 2007 Posted December 2, 2007 Good win for Raceland but I wonder how many football players Central had out? They are competing for a state football championship vs. Belfry this week. I would assume several athletes play both football and basketball at Central. Either way, congrats to the Orange!

From what I heard not very many at all. maybe 1 or 2 & they weren't major impact players.
The Cerebral Assassin Posted December 3, 2007 Posted December 3, 2007 Good job Rams! Good start to what will hopefully be a great season. :thumb:
