Vegas Trip

Featured Replies

From Mid October thru the end of the year seems to be the best time to go as far as the weather is concerned. As far as where to stay if you have the money then go 1st class and try the Wynn, Bellagio, Ceasars, The Venetian are a few that are extremely nice and in the middle of the strip. I sort of like the MGM Grand for some reason. Alot of activity and not priced quite as high as those I mentioned earlier. I'm not sure I would want to stay in Old Vegas but I do recommend you go there and spend some time. Has alot of character in a seedy sort of way and you can get some great prices on meals down there.

As others have mentioned the Rio is nice and very entertaining and they have a fabulous buffet. Great town with a ton of things to do and see..

Thanks Guys! All the guys in the group are 24 to 26 age range so... 24 hours a day will be our theme.

We are thinking of leaving Wed or thurdays and coming back Saturday or Sunday.

I have stayed at the Golden Nugget downtown in old Vegas and it is very nice. I also went out on business and stayed at the RIO and that was choice and agree what every one has said about the RIO again NICE!!!!!! When in Vegas just enjoy and don't worry about spending money. JD

The first time I went out there was Late July/early August and it was perfect. Some what hot, but I hung by the pool alot. It wasnt overly crowded but theres always alot of people in Vegas no matter when you go.

I'm going Christams day and coming back December 30th. It will be about my 8th time going. I hated the weather in the middle if July. I stayed at the Mirage and only left that building for about 8 seconds the whole trip b/c it was 115 degrees. I liked March and I hear the weather when I'll be there is great. I now stay at Harrah's or Rio b/c the rooms are free.

BULL!!!!! Overspend and enjoy yourself.

If you go to Vegas not to spend money, you won't have fun.

hey, what would Dave Ramsey think about this philosophy! ha

Rio is nice, but I usually stay at Flamingo because of free rooms, I am going agin Jan.17. Also the newly remodeled Hooters Casino is not bad and fun place to be. If you want a good, cheap meal close to strip, get the Ellis Island steak special, also cheap breakfast.

I'm glad you said it because I was thinking it. Smart fiscal posts in the thread where applicable and waste a-lot in the thread where applicable. Everything to everybody. ;):D:p

You should take Rocket with you. He's been chomping at the bit.

I ate at a place called Golden Coast I think...And it was great.

We stayed at a Resort right behind Ceasars Palace, Im not sure of the name, but you got sort of like your own apartments, it was nice...Other than that I don't know what to tell you...
