Serious Fantasy dilemma!

I basically have to win out in order to make the playoffs in this league. My team is primed for it except for 1 thing this week. I have Favre, Jennings and Grant on my team and I also have Dallas' defense/special teams.

I am not starting grant this week, I am putting Jones-Drew in instead.

Even so, the only defenses on the waiver are:

Rams

Cardinals

Bengals

Texans

Saints

Bills

Falcons

Eagles

Panters

49ers

Dolphins

Jets

What a mess!

Not really...pick up the Rams D. They're playing better and they're hosting the Falcons. They should get you some points.

That was my thinking too, I just can't shake this feeling of doom.

I am going up against the guy who had Brady and Moss, I beat him earlier in the season, but this one worries me more than ever.

Pick up the Panthers. I think they play the 49ers this week (although 49ers went wild last weekend).

Actually, I'd try the Rams.

This may sound crazy.....but.......the Bengals D may not be a bad choice for this week. It is possible that the weather is going to be bad again in Pitt and everone saw that field on Monday night! Also, for some reason the Bengals have played very well in Pitt the last few years.

I don't need to worry about the long run, Dallas has been great for me. It is just that I don't want to be losing points from my D as my QB and WR score.

If you're just looking at this week, I'd go with the Panthers against the 49ers. But for the long run, I'd go with the Cardinals.

Agreed, in my league I have Pitt (vs. Cincy) and JAX (vs. Indy) defenses so I picked up Carolina so I don't have to root against Cincy.

To be honest, I wouldn't feel bad about playing Dallas this week. But, if you're set against it, Carolina and St. Louis are the only real options to consider for this week.

Indy's offense hasn't been very good lately...I'm not so sure I wouldn't play the Jags D against them this week and see what happens.

Peyton has 5 TD's and 8 Int's in the past 3 games...and 3 of the TD's came against Atlanta. The Jags are playing great right now, and they've been known to play the Colts really tough...I think I'd take my chances.

Division game against the Jaguars makes me think that Indy's going to step it up...Also I think that Harrison will come back for this game, because if they lose they are tied for the division league. But you are right, the numbers aren't bad in Jax's favor. Thing is though, I already won my league, so it doesn't matter what I do.

I'm guessing that his QB is Favre and his WR is Jennings or Driver.

Well I am going up against:

QB:Brady

RB:Reggie Bush

RB:Kevin Jones

WR:Randy Moss

WR:Derrick Mason

WR:Nate Washigton

TE:Gates

K:Jeff Reed

Defense/specialteams: Chargers

My current starting lineup against him is:

QB: Favre

RB: Steven Jackson

RB: Maurice Jones Drew

WR: Greg Jennings

WR: Marques Colston

WR: Kevin Walter

TE: Ben Watson

K: David Akers

Defense/Special Teams: Cowboys

Only reason I beat him the week I did was because he had the chargers defense playing against the Patriots. At the time I didn't have quite so good a team, I didn't have Favre, Jennings, or Walter.

On the bench for me right now:

QB: J. Campbell

RB: Marion Barber, Ryan Grant

WR: Amani Toomer

DST: Rams
