Sure a 7-8 win season is good, but not when you start off 6-1, have a HEISMAN runner leading your team to big, BIG, W's and then it just all stops. I know the SEC is a tough game every Saturday but a 14-31 loss to Miss. State?? They are not "pathetic". I would be upset as well. Starting off 6-1 and then finishing up with a 7-5 record.

For me, as a fan, the losses are what frustrates and disappoints me. It's the way they've played. The offense has vanished... However, there's no way this season as a whole can be a disappointment to me. I thought 7-5 might be the best they could hope for when the season started. I think this season has been a success...there was a chance for it to be really special, but as a UK fan, you have to realize that progress is being made because of that very fact. UK did some things and had a chance to do some things that they've never even come close to since I've been watching them. You don't become an SEC contender overnight...and I think UK is learning how to win in the conference. If they could snap one of those streaks (Tennessee and Florida), I think it would help a lot. Anyway, I'm not disappointed in the season, just the way they've played in recent weeks. It would be easier to stomach if they'd played better and lost...although, I've been proud of the defensive effort for the most part. The offense is what has vanished.
