I play my acoustic every single day since i got it in august, but i'd probably be splitting time between the two. What price range am i looking at for an amp thats going to get that much work?

November 24, 200718 yr You wanna play Clapton and SRV? Get a Fender Strat! Shop around and you can probably find one in your price range (the ones made in Mexico are excellent and about half price of the American made...stay away from the Japanese made..the necks warp at the first sign of temperature change!!)... I LOVE the sound of a Les Paul and the SG is probably my favorite...but for the blues...A Fender Strat is your guitar!!! As for an AMP? Any Fender or Crate TUBE amp will do!! I love the new Laney's and a Marshall is good (with a Fender head),but you can find a GOOD 75 watt Crate tube amp fairly cheap (again....shop around).. Now if you wanna play Texas Flood....PRACTICE...PRACTICE...PRACTICE!!! LOL..and have fun!!
