I think its great with his turnaround and I pray that the kids got the right message, but I don't think Jesus was mentioned, do you?

No, but does that negate the influence on a person's life? God works in mysterious ways and sometimes it might be the testimony of a man who confesses his sin rather than reacts to reports about it. It's just my take AL and I don't see this as an influence in the negative at all.

Kids aren't as ignorant as you assume them to be... No one in their right mind would get, "Hey he did coke and regrets it, but hey, I think he's telling me I should do it..."

I bet that he didn't inhale!!

 

This is not going to make my decision one way or the other, quite frankly I have not heard anything from any candidate (Democrat or Republican) yet that makes me want to vote for them. I am just not impressed by any of them.

I don't know who I will vote for, the only thing that I can promise is that if Hillary Clinton is in the running then I will vote AGAINST her and be very proud to do so.

Well, in the black/white world of most conservative folks, weed is just as bad as coke. And some -- Elvis, for instance -- don't think the abuse of prescription drugs is the same as being, say, a smack junkie or crackhead. Some don't even look at abusing scrips as drug use.

 

Was reading the HL story on Bobby Joe Curry and the Clay County scandal and he indicated as most believe, he started in Marijuana both using and selling and worked his way to other drugs when MaryJane didn't provide enough money or high.

 

I do think abusing scrips is drug use.
