December 10, 200718 yr Author Great night of fights. War Machine vs Rollins was a fun one to watch as was Huerta vs Guida. Fight of the year for Huerta/Guida? I think it should be in the running, it was great! I'll also be shocked if Rampage isn't the other coach for the next TUF. Definitely not what I was hoping for. I was really hoping they'd go with Couture vs. Rampage. Maybe Forrest will prove me wrong, but as of now, I'm not really that excited about this matchup. Rampage should destroy Forrest. Of course, there really is no one to put against Rampage right now. One is as good as another...if Wanderlei beats Chuck, he should be in line for a title shot, IMO, considering that he destroyed Rampage twice before. I think Thiago Silva is the up-and-comer to watch. He may be a guy who can take that belt from Rampage. He seems to have a well-rounded game and he's been very impressive. I expect him to start getting some big time fights, and if he wins a couple of fights against upper-tier competition, he deserves a shot at the title.
December 14, 200718 yr This is from an interview on Kenny Florian's website. I would be so pumped if he were fighting Roger Huerta in Columbus. TCF: Thanks for taking the time to speak with me. You took a little time off from training after your last win because of a back injury, how are you physically? KF: The back is fine. I had a herniated disc in both by neck and back. I won't be needing any surgery and it's holding up good. TCF: Did that prevent you from not training as much or as hard? KF: After the win over Din Thomas, I just took a little longer off than I normally do. I'm now back to training and sparring and working out 6 days a week. TCF: Are you still thinking either February or March for your next fight? KF: That's the plan as of right now. There is a chance I'll be on the card in Columbus in March. Ohio has some crazy fans and I hope to get back there soon. TCF: Any idea of who your next opponent might be? KF: I have no idea to be honest. All I know is that I want it to be one of the top guys in the division. It could possibly be the winner of Saturday's fight between Clay Guida and Roger Huerta. Frankie Edgar is another guy that is a possibility

December 14, 200718 yr O and Rich Franklin has been offered at fight with Travis Lutter that would take place in Columbus, but Ace hasnt agreed to it as of yet. He's been doing some acting and may not be able to have the proper training time once he gets done with those things to be able to accept the fight. Jorge Gurgel is also on the card for the Columbus event.
